Innovative Data Systems was founded in 1995. The company has developed software for several different industries including insurance, healthcare, real estate rental, county road department and government community assistance programs.

Innovative Data Systems has a diverse customer base including state government, city government as well as private not for profits and for profit companies. The products Innovative Data Systems produce are subscription based Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.

The SaaS platforms are hosted in an enterprise class Tier 3 datacenter with full 24x7x365 management and redundancy. All of Innovative Data Systems’ production environments are private cloud which includes private servers and networking equipment. All systems’ data are encrypted at rest and encrypted in transit and have full daily backups. The data center is HIPAA, HiTech and PCI compliant and hold SOC2 compliance certificates.

President – Tim Wright

Tim worked as the Director of Technology for Innovative Data Systems from 2007 to 2010 and then acquired Innovative Data Systems from Don Slone, the original founder, in 2014. Tim is key to system design and security, business growth and contract management. Tim has an extensive background in software development, electronics engineering, server and network engineering, project management and business ownership in several industries. He has over 25 years technical and leadership experience and has held technical and leadership roles at Samsung, Lam Research, GaSonics International and Tokyo Electron. He has also co-owned and operated several companies that were in Healthcare, Software Development, Insurance, Manufacturing, Housing and Food industries. He currently holds degrees in Information Technology and Electronics and has industry certifications in technology. Tim is also an author and co-author of 2 US patents for technology solutions.

Vice President – Gwen Wright

Gwen is key to connecting technology with nursing and health services. Gwen has a background in Healthcare and Electronics. She holds degrees in Nursing and Electronics and is a Registered Nurse. She has held technical, leadership and nursing roles at Tokyo Electron, Dell Computers and St. Luke’s Hospital. She has co-owned and operated companies that were in Healthcare and Food industries and managed 60+ field nurses as well as managed a major nationwide Health Insurance contract.

Operations Manager – Bob Peters

Bob is key to system design, training and making sure project specs and timelines are met. Bob’s background is in Electronics, Mechanical and Building Systems and Project Management. He holds a degree in Electronics. He has held technical and management roles at Motorola, Applied Materials and Oreilly’s. Bob has owned and operated an Electrical Contracting company and a Manufacturing start-up company. Bob has skills in product design, layout, CAD drawing, customer service and project management. He is also a co-author of 1 US patent for a technology solution.
